Irrigation Systems

Every irrigation system we install is designed by a licensed irrigator, assuring the system is installed to meet local codes (Austin, Round Rock, Georgetown, etc.) and Texas State standards.   Our designs take into account differing conditions, such as sunny versus shady or low lying areas that could result in wet spots in the lawn, as well as varying plant types and their watering needs to insure water conservation and reduce waste.

During installation of your irrigation system, head spacing is done to manufacturer’s specification and rotors are not ‘squeezed’ into unsuitable areas, which can cause water to be thrown where it is not needed.  All piping is buried sufficiently to avoid damage by aerators and other gardening tools.  Swing joints are placed on all heads, risers, and rotors to reduce head damage due to breakage and ease adjustments, and anti-siphon devices are installed to prevent low head drainage when needed.   Every effort is made to give the final result a professional appearance, from the controller hanging on the wall, to the way the lawn is restored upon completion.  Our irrigation systems include a rain sensor and a master valve, plus an emergency shut off valve to allow system shutdown in emergency situations without turning off the water to the home.  A pressure regulator is installed in any system when excess pressure is experienced.  This reduced excess wear on the components and reduced over-spray and fogging.  All our sprinkler systems are fully warranted, for both materials and workmanship, and we use only commercial grade components.

Our experience tells us that a well installed irrigation system will operate seven to ten years without major component failure.  However, we do provide service to our customers in a timely and courtous manner, both while under warranty and in the years that follow.
